"Gentle but Firm"-Fern's line she always told me about horses. She helped me through some of the toughest times when I was growing up. I'd spend the weekends riding and hanging out with the family.  I'd drive up to GE from Chesterland and meet her on Friday nights.  My mom (Little Betty) thought the world of her at GE where they worked together.
I wish I could talk to her, tell her how I'm doing and give her a big hug.  My best horses came from her. Mr. Tyke, Wispy, among a few. I still ride and think "How would Fern handle this" to this day. I hope if the famly reads this somehow we can get in touch.

I had no idea. My heart hurts. I know God is here for us all, and Fern, please keep an eye on me from up there too, would you?

We shared so many happy times playing cards and showing horses, going to church and visiting, helping each other  So many memories. I'm so sorry that as we got older and activities took us in different directions, we lost the closeness  that we
once shared. The surprise birthday party our spouses held for us was great. Who
would of thought the guys were capable of that? I know she's in a better place.  Free from all pain and happy in the Lord's presence. May God bless the family and
comfort you in your time of sorrow. I have walked this pathway myself.

     Bill and I  have known Fern for a long time we laughed together, cried together and had our ups and downs.  Thru it all Fern always had a special place in our hearts.  Bill and I both feel a great loss, we will miss seeing Fern and Herbie going down the road together and know that the good Lord gave her another day, but we will always see her in our memories.  Fern will never be forgotten.  Rest in peace our dear friend you, will be missed.

My grandma was a very strong women. We've had many memories together. She is for sure my inspiration. Yeah, we had are arguments here and there, but at the end of day we loved eachother. She always had the answers. I went to her first if I was having a problem. She had the best advice I could find. She was truly amazing. I will always love her and she will always be in my heart<3 I know she's happy. So if she's happy i'm happy.<3

i am so sad to hear about your mother.I remember working with fern in aging.And all the good times we had together.She help me alot when i was having bad times in my life.she alway let me know  god was there for me. you and your family are in my pray. she will alway be with you all .
