Her Life
February 29, 2016

LATE MRS. FLORA NWOKORO (nee Agbaeze), the second child of Chief Ikpo Agbaeze and Mrs Uche Agbaeze of Chief Agbaeze Dimgba's compound in Amaghuzo, Ameke, Abiriba in Ohafia local government area, Abia State, was born on 6th August, 1983 in Edinburgh, Scotland.

She had her early education at Early Learning International School, Festac Town, Lagos and St Gabriel's Private School, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago where she obtained her First School Leaving Certificate, FSLC, in 1993.
She also attended St Francois College, Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago and Regina Pacis International School, Abuja and obtained the Senior Secondary School Certificate in 2000. She was the best graduating student with straight A's in all her subjects.
Late Mrs. Nwokoro later graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri (FUTO) bagging a 2nd Class Upper Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2006.

After her National Youth Service in Mobil (Nigeria), Lagos (2007-2008), she worked with KPMG (Lagos) for one year, before joining Slumberger, Port Harcourt, her final place of work. She was rewarded in 2012 for her contribution to HSE with the loss prevention team and in 2014 for exceptional display of work done.

A devout Christian, she grew up in the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, where she gave her life to Christ and later after marriage was ardent member of Catholic Institute of West Africa (CIWA) Port Harcourt.
She got married to her soul mate Engr. Afam Nwokoro on January 2nd, 2012 and the union was blessed with two children - a boy and a girl.

She enjoyed reading, swimming, travelling and sleeping. She was a woman of integrity, warm and receptive; always ready to help others in need. There was never a dull moment with Flora; very loyal to her friends and vice versa.

She was a confident and intelligent woman, a caring daughter, a wonderful sister, a loving wife, a devoted mother and a loyal friend, as evidently seen in the vacuum she left behind.

She is survived by her parents, 3 siblings, husband and 2 beautiful children.

Flora went to stay with the Lord on December 20, 2015.
