My brothers and I are deeply saddened by the loss of our dear cousin Flo. We are first cousins, the children of siblings. Much of our early childhood was spent together playing hopscotch, jacks and jumping rope. She was reared by Christian parents and followed in that path. I have such fond memories of our times together.

She was sweet, firm and did not hesitate to lift you up in prayer, or offer words of spiritual wisdom when she perceived you were facing adversity.

Our lives were separated after relocating to different cities, but our hearts were on one accord. The word of God declares, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord." Her living was not in vain. Much love...

Mother polk,was like a mother to me,l member when she ask me to help her at the nurseing home teaching godword at the nursehome,oh what a blessing to work under her ministry.i love her from the first day I meet,her sweet kind spirit . God is making his braclet with all his stone , when the angle takeing mother Polk, they had a diamond goinging home to glory.love you all

Dear Theresa,

Hurt and pain are guaranteed in this world. Jesus tells us that we will have trouble BUT that we can take heart because He has overcome the world! (John 16:33). Be comforted today, through the Word of God. We can be comforted by knowing that God is faithful, and is always looking over us. He truly cares and is our protector and comforter in times of need. Whatever the circumstance may be, we can find a peace that passes all understanding!
May the Lord bless you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you His favor and give you peace.

Mother Polk, yesterday Theresa shared the video of your 77th birthday party where we fried up lots of catfish. I got the opportunity to reminisce of the glow on your face while sharing memories and opening gifts of love. Today, I smile knowing I have you in my heart, and God has you in His Kingdom. This memory will be my keepsake.

I remembered the time when u took me to visit your mom and we sat and had lunch together with her. I can still remember her beautiful smile. I think it was in 2007, wow time flies .

Aunt Flo, was a very positive person and straight forward. What caught my attention: Linda Rivon posted Happy Birthday to one of her family members that had Passed on; and Aunt Flo said on Facebook : They Can’t Hear You! I laughed and Laughed.
