If flowers grow in heaven,
Lord, then pick a bunch from me,
Then place them in my Nana's arms,
And tell her they're from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it everyday,
But there's an ache within my heart
That will never go away.

Nana, the legend.

Hi Nana, I know you are no longer with us, but you are missed every single day! From playing card games like old maid and donkey, to panicking because an 11 year old shouldn't have makeup as a present (your face was hilarious) I really wish you were here to meet Enya. She knows all about you and loves you immensely. When you were in hospital and I sent you that card, I really appreciate you holding on to life for me, and the Christmas card you sent with the "thank you Disa, you saved my life" made my life worth it and I still won't tell mum what I wrote to you because it's just for us and it also really annoys her, and I know you'd find that funny. It's the little in jokes that I miss and the fact that you understood me and were always there for a chat and a high tea, you were an inspiration to all of us and I aspire to be even half as amazing as you. You are incredible and I know that everyone who had ever met you, loves you, without a doubt. I miss you so much and I love you more than I can ever say. Diza xx

My nana is the sort of person who would help anyone does not matter how big or small the problem is. She had a great marriage with my grandad for 60yrs before he passed away on his 90th birthday. She would save up to take me and my sisters on holiday to primrose valley or Whitby or Scarborough for a week. She was a wonderful mother, wife, nana you couldn't ask for a better person she was kind hearted cheerful person you could ever met never moaned or grumble she got on with her life the best way she knows how.
