If there was anything that Floyd Cooper loved more than being a Dad, it was being a Papa. One scroll through the pictures on here will show the overwhelming joy, happiness and pride that he had in all of his grandchildren. From babies to grads, Papa could be counted on to support, cheer, sing made up songs to, and above all, love. 

Floyd's ability to load a truck often defied my understanding of the laws of physics.  My attempts to convince him to "take the first load and then come back for a second" always failed.  I usually followed him in my car to his destination, which he always reached safely and without incident, just shaking my head and hoping I would not see the contents spilled out all over the highway. 

Tom: "Floyd, this truck is full.  Let's come back and get the rest later." 

Floyd: "No!  We can get a lot more in this truck.  Watch this!"
