I was very sorry to learn of Floyd's passing in the Marshalltown paper. I enjoyed Floyd's friendship and his participation on the Marshalltown School Board, while I was superintendent. He was such an intelligent, inquisitive person, with a kind heart. Since we left Marshalltown in 2000 I have not kept up with the Jury family except by occasionally reading Floyd's stories in the TR.
I am very sorry for the loss.
