Another great memory - my dad drove me & my girlfriends down to Top of the Ocean for our first big dance. We were all so excited to go. Once there, most of the girls sitting at tables, boys standing around talking, no one was dancing. I was bummed. I thought I saw my dad behind a pillar & I did! He came over and asked all the girls at my table to dance with me & him. We all went out to dance, other girls joined in & dad started bringing in the boys to dance with us. He was the "ice breaker"! He stayed for about an hour dancing with the girls no boys would ask. I was so proud he was my dad & loved him so much at that moment in time. 

He was a great dad. I have found memories of my childhood and my adult life with him. Janice and I lost our mom to early but dad was always around and stayed with us as long as he could. I have lots of memories of dinners, card games, camping, trips & so much more. I was very lucky to have him for my dad. My boys were lucky to have him as a grandpa and my grandchildren were lucky to have him as a great grandpa. He was loved. He'll be missed.
