The ever bright Sister Folashade...... You were always full of life and a very pleasant person. An example of a Christian as your love for all is so glaring. Everyone’s well being was your goal and you pursued it vigorously. Till we meet to part no more, keep resting at the bosom of your maker our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hmmm, what can we say about the Olori of our Dear Aburo Seyi? We met Sade in Bishop Adelakun Howells Memorial Church (BAHM) 25 years ago and our relationship developed when she married Seyi Akinyoyenu.
We admired her bounce, energy and gait. Her broad smile and warmth cannot be forgotten.
Omo Baba Aladura, it is obvious that you were a doting wife and mother. And so fond of your husband. Like your father, Baba Oshomoji, you were passionate about God.
We loved you but God loves you more and has taken you to seat gloriously in the heavenly realm with Christ Jesus.
We have no doubt that you are with Jesus, who is interceding for the world, especially for your family.
We pray that God will uphold our special Aburo Seyi and keep the three children you left behind.
We pray that God will comfort your family and siblings in Jesus name. Amen.

I grew up knowing Auntie Shade...the most amiable of Sunday School teacher. She loved to sing and dance with us kids...we all wanted to be in her class. Then we all grew up and she married Bro Seyi...and I got to be a semi-regular visitor at their home. She had become his beloved Olori...they were a joy to watch...their home open and loving...their children...wonderful

One of the very few people that always called me by my full name...Ayokanmi...lol...now that I think about it, just like ur dad used to
When ur mom passed, you took up the role as ur siblings mummy regally...I remember how in awe I was of u at Bisi's wedding...
An example setter in every way...

Sis Shade...Bro Seyi and the 3 J's will miss you o!
They will miss you terribly
You were the sunshine in their lives
You will never be forgotten...

Till we meet at the feet of Jesus
Sleep well Sis Shade...sleep well...

Hello Sister Shade, hope the hevenlies are broad open to send my message across. It's still so surprising you are gone.
I never got to know you for so long, but I still feel ur absence so strong, once i enter our department in church.
And you know what?when i remember the bread and sausage snack,my hrt feels a Crack.
Our department so much feels ur departure, the nuture, discipline and care for the children.
How angels tread the dust so hurriedly, leaving us with just memories, but it's usual that they do not tarry so much on earth because heaven is their true abode.
I miss you sis Shade, Jola wrote a letter to God telling him to say hi to you, I hope u got that too.keep resting in the bosom of our Lord Jesus christ, amen.

I never got to meet you in person ma, but the pictures and videos spoke loudly. I saw the smile, laughter, joy that Pastor Seyi always display when around you and the kids. I saw your ever joyful countenance and heard of your love for people and very much for children. It was shocking to hear you went home already to be with the Lord.
Forever in our hearts till we meet again never to part!

Using this opportunity to open up perhaps this will help me heal faster. The demise of ‘Shade (the only friend that calls me her “boyfriend”) touch me to the core. As I type this now my face is laden with tears. My wife has never seen my cry the way I did when the news came.

I haven’t been able to go physically to see my friend turned brother, because I am not sure of my emotions. I have never lost a friend or a friends spouse this close.

Folashade your warmness, your care, the smiles and your goodness lives on. I still hear loud and clear your words, your voice, your laughter...

If I had known or have an incline or rather sensitive enough to know that my calling you on your birthday of 2020 will be the last time we spoke, possibly would have left my family and friends to spend some time with you experience your warmth, your words, see you laugh and enjoy your last hug. But God knows better! The fact that you’re home with our Lord and Saviour gladdens my heart.

Sleep on dear one. Till we see again worshiping God all eternity.

Dear Olori,
Although I knew you for a short period, you smiled alot and always left a funny remark. I remember you told me the Holy Spirit ministered to you how I was going to be a Minister's wife. A short statement it was but it confirmed all the dreams and doubts I had been having.
We wish you stayed longer but we know you are resting peacefully with the saints.

I never met her in person but a truly happy man can't be disguised! I see through a lot of things so I know she truly made Seyi happy. There are tell tales in our stories. Seyi, in his first letter to " my wife on the other side" said she said" Seyi, release me let me go" Even in "dying"( Actually relocating to the other side)she recognized her husband had to let her go!! That's huge for me!! What level of submission! What level of love!! I don't known if others see this, but this is a summary! How will such a woman take a decision behind her husband? In her pains, she still won't bail on him, she asked for permission to go! I shed tears because I felt " oh God why? why a beautiful marriage?" Rest on sis. You have only gone ahead. You beat the rest of us to the finishing line! I therefore envy you. You are now part of those that will rise first! The book of Thessalonians says "the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we that are left and in Christ shall join up in the sky..." Bishop, "comfort your self with this..." Indeed a good wife is worth more than Rubie! That's why you will be forever missed! Adieu sis!!!

Dear Mama,
I write this with alot of grief in my heart.
I didn't get the chance to meet you physically, but all I see from afar is a loving and supportive wife, a great mother, a dedicated servant of God, a lover of children and a mentor to many.
I am sure the heavens are rejoicing because an angel got added to their lot.
Rest in power ma'am.

You were the secret weapon and support of Seyi and we all knew that. You took care of the part that a lot of us did not see because we only saw the high performing Seyi. You alone saw his pains and tears and was always there to soothe them away.

We will all miss you but we take solace in the fact that you have gone home to rest with our Lord.

Sir Oluseyi is a mentor to me. The beauty of the soul of a man can only be perceived when there is a pillar behind him - you were that pillar. A wife is the vine at the center of a home. You will be missed and thanks for shaping a man that has the capacity to affect destinies positively.

My dear Sis Sade as I call you. I met so many church members at Global Harvest Church, Lagos but you wouldn't let me go. You showed me so much care and love that couldn't be ignored. I immediately took you as a sister and not just a friend. You opened your home to my hubby and I. You proved in every way that you were a Christian. We ate together like sisters do.

I will never forget your last few sentences before you gloriously departed this sinful world. You told us to start sing praises to God, your maker. At this point I knew you were ready to fly home. As we were praying, you shouted my hubby's name so clearly and said, Bro Bola, Bro Bola, please release me and let me go." Your voice was full of strength and I thought its not time for you to go. We prayed, I prayed, I cried, I worshipped, your friends and pastors prayed o from different part of the world. We called upon God to heal and restore. Your husband, Pastor Tosin, and my hubby refused to accept that you were leaving us...hmm they prayed more fervently! But God chose to take you. You also chose to leave because of the glory you saw. The Angels practically came to carry you home. Your exit was beautiful! I will never forget 3/1/2021.

Sleep on, beloved, Folashade sleep and take thy rest;
Lay down thy head upon thy Saviour's breast:
We love thee well; but Jesus loves thee best.
  Good-night! Good-night! Goodnight!

Calm is thy slumber as an infant's sleep;
Folashade, But thou shalt wake no more to toil and weep:
Thine is a perfect rest, secure and deep
  Good-night! Good-night! Good-night.
May the God of all comfort uphold your husband, your children, families, friends, your pastors at GHC and the entire church. Sun re o Àyànfé. -Olive Bola-Arotiowa

I pray for a safe journey for her soul.

Amen

Dear Folashade,

I never met you but the way Seyi spoke glowingly about you, it was clear how you impacted his life and that of the Akinyoyenu clan. I admire your lovely family photographs and your beautiful smile. Thank you for proof reading his posts and being the wind beneath his wings.

Our confidence is that you are resting with the Lord, there's no doubt about that. Thank you for all you did for your family and thank you for being a firm believer and resolute in your faith. We pray God's strength for your lovely family as they journey on.

It's easy to put in words how beautiful you were, here on earth, how your 100% commitment, devotion and passion for God and to your husband, children, siblings, family and friends shone threw. Maybe, we should have suspected we had an angel who choose to live with us...? Maybe, angels have different life spans on earth? Maybe...
Yet, there are no questions about where you are and what you are up to, up above. Heaven's Gain - indeed!✨

Folasade,
Thank you for kneeling on both knees everytime you visited. This baffled me - not being used to the in-law culture.
Thank you for the contagious smiles you brought along with you.
Thank you for making me feel like a grandma when you gave birth to Jola.
Thank you for giving Oluwaseyi the best of you.
Thank you for holding on for as long as you could for who knows the number of our days?
Thank you for the beautiful memories you have left behind.
I love you dearly xxx
'Aunty Sade'

As Folasade rests, Lord I pray for an extra dose of comfort and strength for every loved one she leaves behind, More Especially Seyi, Jaiye, Jola, Jomi, Soji and his siblings
