Dear Esteemed Pastor Foluke Eze

So hard to deal that you are gone to be with Jesus.

We had plans and many things to do in this realm.

Rest on PFE. I have the hope of seeing you again at our rapture.

The Holy spirit comfort your husband, children and the church.

Rest on with the Lord.

Dear Pastor Ma, we spoke in the faithful morning of your demise. Remember I said you needed to take some rest because you sounded worked up? You answered firmly in the affirmative and said you would get back to me later in the day for other matters but little did I know that it was going to be my last physical conversation with you. I was pained beyond description with a feeling of disbelief when the information of your transition to glory got to me.

You were an icon of excellence and grace, a true representation of divinity in humanity, a true mother indeed, always ready to help and to guide and never relenting in your blunt but loving corrections where necessary.

It is hard and painful to accept the fact that you've gone home earlier than expected, however, we're consoled because we're assured that you're resting with the Lord as you await our arrival at the rapture.

You have fought a good fight. You have kept the faith. You have made indelible impact in my family and in the lives of many around the world with the investment of your personality.
We're deeply heart broken at your unexpected departure to glory but in spite of all, we are matching on with the baton you've passed on. Heaven gained!!

I will forever love you Pastor Ma.

Your son in the Lord, Bro. Michael Lovely

The way you take those testimonies...
The way you amplify every instruction...
The way you smile when Pastor teaches...
That confidence...

..and the way I looked out for your beautiful facial expressions when Pastor makes a joke.

Please Pastor, tell God to send us another you ASAP, I know you are with Him. I am consoled. Hail thy fellow saints for me ma.

It's still difficult to believe you are no more.

Pastor ma,we can't forget you,we will never forget you!
When the news of your passing was made known, in the midst of the grief and pain which flooded our hearts, something else also came with it.
Heaven suddenly became more real and seemed so near because one of own just recently gained entry!
We suddenly looked forward to our own homecoming, when we will all reunite with Jesus.
Earth lost its allure and became uninteresting, and with this hope we dried our tears.
"Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”
Revelation 14:13 NKJV
See you again Pastor ma on resurrection morning, we love you.

Esteem Pastor, Foluke!
I rejoice because you are in a better place full of Glory.

Congratulations ma, you made it!

You did not die, you are very much alive but in a different state.

Our heart may not be able to bear your parting from us, but God is the strength of our heart and our portion forever.

Jesus, is the resurrection, and the life and because you believe in him, though you sleep, yet you live:

We know on the resurrection morning, your body that is sown perishable now will be resurrected imperishable and immortal.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

But we are confident, knowing that your absent from the body, is to be present with the Lord.

Pastor Foluke...
Meeting you in 2016 was such a delight. When I came visiting, you showed you were larger than life! Such hospitality! Such love! Since then, it would be at programs we would see again. You were always with Pastor Emma when I'd look around for him at Ministry programs. Then in 2018 you didn't stay back during the break, you went along with us for our Class Reunion. Such a strong pillar and support. 'LAG Biochemistry Class of '96 will remember you always. We love you and refuse to speak about you in the past tense because you live on! Forever in our hearts till we meet again when the Master returns.

What I can say is a BIG THANK YOU MA for your impact in my life, family and home. Who will I hug now that will say those words to me after church" Thank God, I am confident that you're in a better place now. Our prayers and strong support are with Pastor Emma, your amazing children and the rest of your family you left behind. RIP ma! Till we all meet on the day of rapture. I missed you ma!

Pastor Foluke Ma, you chatted me up just two weeks before this news came that you have not been seeing us in church and I came with my family to say hi to you after service the following Sunday and I told you we were always in church. I never knew that was the last time I was going to talk to you one on one.

Relocating to Nigeria became acceptable because I met you.

Shared by Jennifer James on April 11, 2021
In 2016 when hubby told me we are going back to Nigeria, I didn't like the idea. I followed him to visit and said in my heart I will only agree to relocate finally if I find a reason within this one month visit to go back. The first Sunday I came to church was the day I made up my mind I have found a home. When you came out to take the announcement and welcome the first timers was my defining moment. The eloquence with which you spoke, the poise and rousing beauty that surrounded your person just enveloped my heart. I just wanted to stay and be like you Pastor Ma.
When we came to greet you after service you welcomed us and jisted with us as though you have known us for a long time. I so miss your smile's, complements, rebuke when necessary and incomparable counsel. I love you so much. Thank you for making my life beautiful and for making me a great woman, mom and an amazing music minister. I love you Ma. You are truly irreplaceable.
Till we meet again Ma, rest on! You are forever in our hearts.
Indeed heaven gained, the devil lost and we won!
