Foy Blackwell Hart, 93, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Friday, March 6, 2015.

A native of Granville County, the widow of the Calvin S. Hart and the daughter of the late Henry Lee Blackwell and Bessie Greenway. She was a member of Mt. Creek Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, March 9, 2015 at Mt. Creek Baptist Church by Rev. Johnnie Richards, Rev. Jim Shelley and Rev. Steve Brown. Burial will be in Mt. Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters, Mildred H. Elliott (Ronnie) of Creedmoor, Patsy H. Worrell (Nathan) of Wilmington, a son, Roy C. Hart of Oxford, two sisters, Evelyn B. Elliott and Wilma B. Tunstall, both of Butner, sister-in-laws Pauline Blackwell and Eva P. Blackwell, both of Oxford, a brother-in-law, Harold Gill of Roxboro, a granddaughter, Deana E. Whitt, two grandsons, Scott Elliott, Joseph Bey and six great grandchildren.

Flowers accepted and memorials may be made to Mt. Creek Community Building.

Visitation will be held Monday, March 9, 2015 from 12:00-1:30 PM prior to the service in the Fellowship Hall of Mt. Creek Baptist Church.
