Her Life
October 25, 2012

Mrs. Duskin was born September 16, 1921 in Macon and graduated from Wesleyan College in 1941. After teaching high school English for one year, she married John DeWitt Duskin, Jr. in May 1942. Mr. Duskin died in 2002.

She was the center of her family and enjoyed a multitude of friends. She lived her life with dignity, grace and generosity. Her constant smile, genuine laughter, and words of encouragement will be forever missed by her family and friends.

In addition to raising four children, she did many hours of volunteer work throughout her life. She was involved with many organizations including Lanier Hospital, Callaway Gardens, Wesleyan College, the Columbus Junior League, and the library at Wesley Woods of Newnan.

Mrs. Duskin is survived by her son Hugh Duskin and wife Mary Kay of Atlanta, daughter Sally Speckels and husband Mark of Cumming, daughter Jane Norman and husband Lewis of Lenoir, NC, and son John Duskin of Lanett, AL. Surviving grandchildren are Mac Duskin of Charlotte, Wallace Duskin of Salisbury, NC, Darby Siegel of Charleston, SC, Katie Hallaway of Charlotte, Lewis Norman of Lenoir and Jared Duskin of West Point.
