Frances Longmire Reams, 76, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

A native of Granville County, she was the daughter of the late Hunter and Mildred Daniel Longmire. Frances was a member of Tungsten Mine Baptist Church and retired from Ideal Fastener in Oxford.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Tungsten Mine Baptist Church by Rev. Sam Brewer. Burial will follow the service in the Church Cemetery.

Surviving is her husband of sixty years, Martin L. Reams of the home; a daughter, April Buchanan of Woodstock, Virginia; a son, Mike Reams of Four Oaks; four sisters, Maxine Brogden of Creedmoor, Marguerite Walker of Elizabeth City, Judy Freeman of Durham and Phyllis Reams of Henderson; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 3:00 P.M. Sunday, July 23, 2017 prior to the service at the Church.
