Greetings and Blesssings....

Marara was/is my best friend and I miss him dearly.

Marara my Uncle

April 16, 2022
I didn't had a chance to spend a lot of time with my uncle. He spent almost his whole life in U.S, the first time I saw him it was in 2004 when he came to Rwanda I was 8 years old. I remember his kindness and his smile. I remember when he showed us a laptop, I was with my young brother Clinton. He was teaching us typewriting. We only spent one year with him I didn't had a lot of memories with him cause he came 2004 and 2005 he died. I wish I would have spent a lot of years with him and enjoy his caring heart. I recently lost my dad March 15, 2022 Munana Joseph Albert, who was his elder brother. So you are no longer alone my uncle you are with your lovely brother.

You'll always be in our hearts and we will always make you proud.
Joe Q thank you so much, may the almighty God bless you for making his legacy recognised.

Much Love from Joshua Gakwandi

In a class by himself

July 23, 2016

I met Francis aka Flash at work at this big financial firm. We sat in the same office for a couple of years. I didn't understand why he always had a smile on his face until I got to know him. I lost track of him prior to his crossing and I remember searching the white pages (we didn't have google) and managed to find his wife at the time' phone # and she gave me his number. We sat in his home by riverside dr, we talked, we laughed, we smoke several joints then laughed some more. We even ate Locks on a bagel and I hate locks but his big smile was so persuasive that I ate it lol. Tonight Spirit brought his great soul to mind and I googled him and the very first thing that came up was this memorial site. Joe Q, I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

He was a loving and caring man,

He tought me what spiritually was.

I loved when he would stand tall referring to his clan and his Dad.

Flash, see you in the next life brother, you will always be in my memory and in my heart.

Aho

Marara and Computers

June 8, 2011

I had the distinct honor of introducing Marara to computers. It was like turning an African herdsmsn on to electricty.  He took the ball and ran with it to become a high-value IT/Network Consultant to Wall Street financial firms. That remains on of my proudest accomplishments.
