Francis Nicholas Jewell, born to John and Ruth Jewell  in Philadelphia, PA on June 15, 1932.  He passed away at the age of 87 on march 17 2020, in Woodbury, NJ. 

He is predeceased  by his wife Gloria Fae Jewell, and his brothers Jim Shannon and Bill Jewell. He is survived by his siblings Jack Jewell, Thereasa Markert, Mary Faro, Tom Burke. His children Gloria Carlson, Debra Jewell (Don), Patricia Jewell- (Doreen) , Frank (sallie) Jewell, David (Brenda) Jewell and Michael (Shannon) Jewell. Francis is also  survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great,great grandchildren, many nieces , nephews and friends who all loved him very much.
       
Francis was in the US air-force during the Korean war. He was a postman for many years and retired as Post Master in 1987.  He was also a member of the American Legion, the Honor Guard and his his town watch. He did a lot for his community and was always there for anyone in need. He enjoyed playing cards,dancing, horse shoes, cook outs and spending time with his friends and family.  He will be loved and missed by all who were lucky enough to meet him in this lifetime.

Services will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers donations to Alzheimer’s  Foundation of America would be appreciated.
