A couple of us went to the Bronx Night Market this past Saturday and from the corner of my eye I thought I saw you walking down Fordham. It took me a minute to realize it couldn't be you! The the next morning I got an email about your bday and texted the group. You've made such an impact in our lives that we can't even walk by Fordham without thinking of you!  Happy Bday Francis <3 <3 We love you and miss you!

Francis you will truly be missed. We always loved coming into the cafe and seeing your face. You were always the one greeting the students, faculty, staff, and guests and made them feel welcome. Thank you for your service to Fordham University and our community. Rest in peace.

Francis we have been together at Fordham for over 30 years. I am going to miss our talks on the phone at night. Your call to me at 7:00 in the morning to pick up something from Rite-Aid. Our many chats in the cafeteria, your beautiful smile and your kindness to everyone. Francis you can now rest in peace. You will be truly missed. Love you Pat

Francis, you meant a lot to a whole lot of people. You left an impact on Fordham University that will always be remembered. You always had a funny joke or something to say to make everyone's day brighter. I will forever cherish the Trini keychain you gave me and my old roommate (and our many interesting talks with you about Trinidad). May you rest in peace and God be with your family.

Francis, you have no idea the impact you made on so many of us at Fordham. To others it may seem like a small detail, but for those of us who struggled to afford even being on that campus - your generosity and kindness meant the world. You really took care of us, and I am so grateful for you. Rest in Paradise to our dear friend

You will be forever missed Uncle Francis. Thanks for being a great uncle. Thanks for letting me in your room early hours of the morning to watch cartoons, buying me NY pizza from the shop across the street in Manhattan and always showing me the positive side of life. God bless you. Love, your nephew, Kirky.

He Believed in Helping People

April 23, 2019

He had many opportunities to help his family as well as others. First played the steel drum also known as the Pan an instrument invented in Trinidad, and has been used in Orchestra's, and a famous "Pan" or steel drum ensemble played Lincoln Center. It was a huge cultural win for Trinidad as well a win in entertainment for New Yorker, as we are a Nation of Immigrants, and New York is the home of Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty. There are many Trinidadians in Brooklyn and there a West Indian Day parade he attended the yearly mini Carnival on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn New York, as well as Miami Florida, and Toronto Canada..with traditional Trinidadian Calypso music in bands, and food, which mimics the Carnival in Trinidad, Brazil, The Bahamas as well the US Virgin Islands. He was a great family member who could always be counted on to offer assistance and resources in times of need.
