It was a huge cultural win for Trinidad as well a win in entertainment for New Yorker, as we are a Nation of Immigrants, and New York is the home of Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty. There are many Trinidadians in Brooklyn and there a West Indian Day parade he attended the yearly mini Carnival on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn New York, as well as Miami Florida, and Toronto Canada..with traditional Trinidadian Calypso music in bands, and food, which mimics the Carnival in Trinidad, Brazil, The Bahamas as well the US Virgin Islands.
