Uncle Bishop was such a dignified and intelligent man. Aunt Ruth is his beauty and inspiration. They had two wonderful children who are the proof of their love and devotion. Aunt Ruth, Stewart, and Reta our prayers are with you and we are here for you.

Just read and am so sad to hear of the death of Francis. I have thought of him, Ruth and the children so many times. Our connection was through Central Missouri State and USD 501.
My deep felt condolences to all of you.

I will always remember Uncle Francis with his big smile. He was a gentle man and I carry nice memories of the times we spent together as a family.
Rest in Peace Uncle Francis.

I remember meeting Francis and Ruth when they visited our home in Andover some time in early 1950's. He was proud of his wife, was happy to be visiting his hometown. Some 60 years later I received a letter from him expressing how nice of a restoration I had done on his father's last automobile. It was wonderful to hear from him. It is with a sad heart that I learned of his passing. I will keep his memory alive. To Ruth, Stewart, and Reta I offer my sincere condolences.
May God Bless, Nephew Stephen

My condolences to extended family from Ruth Bishop Sullivan (daughter of Robert, brother of Uncle Francis. Sad to hear the news. Even though the miles separated them we always had news of things in Kansas.

My Brother Stewart
What a doll. This site would NOT have been possible - or created - without your tireless shifting, sorting and investigating of literally hundreds of family photos - carefully selecting just the right ones. My prayers go with you, Stewart, for a new begining, a new "heavenly relationship" with our Father - as you have given me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
