I’d like the memory of me to be a happy one, I’d like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I’d like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days. I’d like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of happy memories that I leave behind when day is done.

Our first meeting.

January 2, 2011

The very first time I met Cisco, I had just moved to Bakersfield.  I had to pick up a house full of furniture and had no vehicle.  He showed up with his son, Steven, bright and early at 7 a.m., with his truck.  I've never seen anyone fit a 3-bedroom house full of furniture into one load.  He packed, lifted, tied and packed some more!  All the time, smiling!  I've never seen him without a smile on his face or heard him speak in a harsh tone.  He truly was a kind and gentle soul!  You will be missed greatly!
