Today our dad would have turned eighty five
but now he is young in the kingdom of heaven
where he is very much alive
His birthdays on earth will always go on and on
But now he fly’s throughout the LORD’s kingdom like a beautiful white swan
He no longer needs any doctors or nurses
He is joined with the LORD in heaven
Where there are never ever any curses

It was twelve years ago this day our dad passed away it was the nineteenth of December
His life he shared with our family was so great that it is something we will always remember
His body has disappeared and it was the LORD He always feared
When he awoke in the kingdom of heaven all
the angels could only have cheered
He’s now happy being with his mother and father forever
It’s been the promise to us from the LORD that He has always continuously endeavored

Today our dad would have turned eighty four
But his birthdays on earth will never matter anymore
His soul was made perfect by the LORD’s righteous word
He flies throughout heaven more effortless then a bird
The eternal life he lives now is in a timeless place
He enjoys his life in Gods kingdom of grace

Today makes eleven years since my dad departed
Through all his living years it was intelligence he imparted
He lived out his life with confidence and integrity
And it was always shown with genuine sincerity
His belief in Jesus was never in doubt
His Christianity was steadfast and always devout
When he reached the end this was noted by the LORD
He was welcomed into heaven and was completely restored

My childhood was so wonderful...I would never trade it. Paul, you are so much like Dad it's amazing. I'm so proud of you....

Today our father would have turned eighty three
But with the passing of his body his soul is forever free
He exists in God's kingdom as an angel of peace
Now his soul will live on and never ever cease
He would gladly live and die in the body once again
For the reward of embracing the LORD's angels
as friends

Ten years now we've lived without our great dad
It's very hard to imagine we'd be anything but sad
the LORD has said we will suffer for a while
His word of truth will stay forever in style
the years my father lived went by like a blink
So the word of the LORD will always make me think that our souls return to God's kingdom of light in a flash we are there where there's never any night

Today our father would have turned eighty two
But age is not counted in God's kingdom it's true
The life my father lead on the earth was complete
The LORD welcomed him to heaven as an angel elite
His trust in the LORD was never in vain
And he never feels any hunger or pain
We try to live our lives by all the examples he showed
His courage and faith is what he always bestowed

Nine years has gone by so very fast
On this sad day was when our father passed
And we cry now for him from time to time
He left us so close to Christmas time
Gift giving is the manner of this season
A gift to God must have been the reason
He closed his eyes nine years ago this day
Then opened them and saw the LORD we pray.

My father was consistently such a great man
As the youngest of four I was his number one fan
His career took us all to many U.S. states
He took care of our family without any mistakes
His faith in God kept his paths very straight
His love for our mom would never abate
He tried oh so hard to stay here with his love
But the LORD called him home
Now he dwells up above.
