It doesn't seem possible, that it's been 28 yrs. Christine will be 40, this year. And, we have a 4 yr. old granddaughter, that we get to spend a lot of time with. She know who you are, because she loves the Manatee, that was yours. I still miss you.. think of you.. and, your memory will live on through those that loved you sharing stories about you, with the next generations. I know this wasn't our last time, to connect. And, I look forward to seeing you, in our next life. <3

Good morning, Frank. My step-dad died last year and my mom asked me when she'll be over his death. I had to tell your mother-in-law that, Yes, it gets better, but, no, you'll never be over it. I suppose what has changed for me over the past 23 years since your death is that the intense sadness I had in the beginning has developed into fond memories of our life together. But, rest assured, I still miss you more than anyone can know. I look forward to seeing you again sooner than later, and allowing you to be my guide in a better world that what you left. I will never forget the last email I got from you, saying you were leaving work early because of an ice-storm... and, then getting called by Terry the following morning - letting me know that you were no longer on this plane of existence. I can't imagine that there will ever be a time that you won't be missed. Your Manatee still keeps me/us company... and, when it flips itself around on the bookshelf, sometimes knocking something down, I always know you're around :) <3

Ah Franklette ... On this evening, the 22nd year of your passing, what would you think of our world today? I trust we'd see you in a state of rage reserved for just such occasions. Happy Birthday, Franklette! You'd have been 66 years old today, if still on this plane, which is odd since you were always four years older and I'm only 39. Puzzling! Electronics continue to advance - we just bought a new DVD/BlueRay combo that's smaller than a laptop and linked to the Internet. I know...you're amazed, too!

My favorite memory is the morning we met. He was helping to get things set-up for the service, stopped & greeted us - and we instantly had this "where have you been in this lifetime" connection - feeling like we'd known each other for ages and were just picking up where we left off. I still think of him often & miss him...<3

Thinking about you today, Franklette, and wondering what you'd think of this world we have today. I remember how it took you nearly THREE years to find just the right flat-screen TVs when they came out. Finally, one Sunday afternoon, you said, "Come on. We're going to Best Buy and I'm GONNA DO IT! And you did! Today the TVs are flat and my mobile phone does more than our home computer did then. The resolution on my mobile is probably better than that TV you bought. How amazed and delighted you'd be. But then, you already know this, and you're smiling with me. Give Kalee, Helen and Frank, Sr. a big hug!

I met Frank through Terry in 1990 when I first began attending the Center for Spiritual Living in Glendale, CA, where Terry was a practitioner. Frank was a kind, sweet, loving and gentle soul. His warmth surrounded everyone he came in contact with. Like Sydney says in her comment, I know he's hanging with Helen and lighting up the skies with his bright but gentle light!!

I was never blessed to meet Frank. I know him thru the heart of his sister, Kathleen, who misses his light to this day. I'm blessed to know so many of his relatives...therefore, I'm privy to so many great stories about Frank....I am sure to meet you one day...

I remember when, for a short time, we could enter a numerical code into a VCR that would automatically record the program. I believe there was a special remote that needed setting up before use. The numbers code for the program was listed in the TV Guide magazine, the newspaper listings, etc. I recall how amazed Frank was and he kept exclaiming "How does it know??"
BTW we have a 55" panoramic curved screen Samsung flatscreen. I betcha Frank would've loved that!!

25 Years of History

When this time of year rolls around I always think of the advancements that we see now and take for granted. For example Frank always wanted to make sure that if he spent a great deal of money did all the research on the product. He spent almost a good three years researching the perfect flat screen TV. Eventually one day he just said "We're going to do it!" And we did! But the thing must have weighed 70 lb! It was one of the first flat screen TVs I probably wasn't even more than 30 in. Today in my living room I have a 65" HDTV but I can almost lift by myself. Here's a few other things that would amazed Frank:
Mobile phones withcameras better than most of us could buy and constant alerts of so many things we don't even need to know about.
Facebook and all the other social media
Mobile banking
Apps for everything
Same sex marriage
HIV as a "treatable disease"
Legal and medicinal marijuana
CBD
Cars that assists with driving or drive themselves
Online ordering for everything, i.e. Amazon
Refrigerators that tell you went you're or of something
Smart homes
Alexa and her friends
Decline of large movie theaters
Movie theaters with assigned, reclining seats with beverages and food
9/11
So many gay couple and single LFBTQ people with children
Binary, gender-fluid identification
