Frank Reid Daniel, 82, a lifetime resident of Granville County passed away Wednesday, August 8th 2012 at the Granville House.
A native of Granville County, the son of the late Samuel Whorton and Gladys Hobgood Daniel. He was a member of Enon Baptist Church, a retired farmer and also retired from Lenox China.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 11th 2012 at Enon Baptist Church by Rev. Steve Brown. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his wife of forty-two years, Ann Hayes Daniel of the home, a son Reid Daniel (Heather) of Oxford, two sisters, Marianna D. Berry of Atlanta, Ga., Betty D. Upchurch of Fleetwood, two brothers, William A. Daniel of Oxford, Bobby J. Daniel of Kernersville and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, Dorsey Daniel, Allen Daniel, Luther Daniel and Samuel Daniel Jr.
Visitation 7:00-8:30 PM Friday evening, August 10th 2012 at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
