Frank Harding Laws, Jr., 69, a lifetime resident of Granville County, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 11, 2017, after a period of declining health at Hock Family Pavilion in Durham.

He was the son of the late Frank Harding Laws, Sr. and Annie May Blackwell. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church, past Master of Lodge # 149 in Cornwall and a friend to all.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Oxford by Reverend James Shelley. Burial will be private.

Surviving are his wife of fifty years, Judy Williamson Laws of the home, two sons, Calvin Thomas Laws (Carol) of Oxford, Charles Harding Laws (Crystal) of Roxboro, a daughter, Judy Laws Kimrey (Kemp) of Burlington and eight grandchildren.

Omission of flowers is requested and memorials may be made to American Indian College Fund, PO Box 172449, Denver Co. 80217-9797 or to the Masonic Home for Children, 600 College St., Oxford, NC 27565.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 12:30-2:00 PM at the Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford and at other times at the home.
