This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Frank Joseph Richard SR of Garretson,SD formerly of Yankton,SD whom passed away after a lengthy illness. Frank was the son of George and Sylvia Richard and raised in Pheonix,AZ.
He went to Thunderbird High School in Pheonix,AZ and a Machine Operating School in Washington for a short bit. His trade was carpentry, woodwork and anything using his hands. He really enjoyed spending time with his family, arranging get togethers, and getting them outdoors. He loved to travel and lived in several places making home where he went. Hes been known to camp for months and fish his day away. He loved working on old cars and motorcycles while listnening to some of his favorite tunes. Some of his favorite moments was in large outside music events. Hardly without a smile, he always managed to brighten your day with his hug.
He is survived by his four daughters Naqia Thomas of Yankton,SD. Rosanna, Laci Richard, and Allison Ford of Sioux City,IA. His three sons Daniel and Kenneth Richard of Sioux City, IA, and Jackson Yates of Elk Point, SD.
His Mother Sylvia Richard of Pheonix, AZ. Three sisters Diane Robinson and her family of Yuba City, CA. Kristine Smith and her family of Pheonix, AZ, and Rachel Richard-Chambers and her Husband of Pheonix AZ. Two brothers John Richard and his family of Pheonix AZ, and Jason Richard and his family of Pheonix, AZ.
Five grandchildren Joseph and Alexander Richard, Dominic Mandicino, and Brayden Ford of Sioux City, IA, and Nevaeh Richard of Pheonix,AZ.
He is preceded in death by his father George Richard, a brother Daniel, two sons Frank J Richard JR and Anthony J Ford and a granddaughter Madison Richard.
He was Cremated using the Services of Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Crematory of Sioux Falls, SD. There will be a Memorial BBQ Potluck/balloon release to follow at a later date.

I love you so much Dad and I can't even put in to words how much you're missed and thought of by all of us. Everyday that passes there are lil things that happen, or a song that plays, or something that is seen that reminds me of you- I take this as the heavens telling me that you're with me.
