Mr. Walton was born in Chambers County September 24, 1922 to the late Leo Frank Walton, Sr., and the late Ida Gunn Walton. He served in the US Army and was a POW during WWII, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a retired Certified Public Accountant in LaFayette.

Mr. Walton is survived by his Wife- Betty Lou Walton of LaFayette, Al., Daughter-Susan (Clayton) Wilson of Hoover, Al., Son-Peter (Cheryl) Walton of Huntsville, Al., Brother-Alex (Ann) Walton of LaFayette, Al., 4 Grandchildren-Andrew Wilson, Kurt Wilson, Kelly Walton & Kendall Walton.
