Grandma was always giving us gifts.  I often felt overwhelmed by them, but I now realize that it was her way of telling us that she was always thinking about us.  She was incredible generous!
I remember many trips she took me on with her- up to Weiser to visit Great Grandma Lucy, to Portland many times to go shopping.  She introduced me to beautiful hotels and fine dining.  Some of her favorites were Roses Bakery & Deli, the Benson Hotel, and the Mallory Hotel.  I have very fond memories of these trips when I was young. 
I and my children are very fortunate to have had an energetic and enthusiastic grandma in our lives for so long! 
Grandma adored my children and would do anything for them.  I had to forbid her from giving piggy-back rides when she was in her seventies!
