Another Lonely Year

January 31, 2019

Yes just another year you might say, but I say NO! Time only softens the sharpest pain a mate has to  endure.  Life with Dave was a challenge yes at times, but not our love for one another.  Ups and downs as all relationships have, some not so bad and the greatest ups you could know.  I had this with Dave, he and I loved one another deeply like it was the first time in many ways.  I am lonely for the one who challenged me and loved me as I did him.  I'm sure in time the sharpness will dull.  The road winds with deep valleys and high hills till we meet again.  I will love you as first we meet.

On The Road

December 17, 2018

From time to time early on in our marriage Dave would ask me to go along with him out on the road.  I thoroughly enjoyed our time along.  As we always had children living with us.

First with Marten Transport, Crete and  another one was a local trucking company.  One year as we were out going to Washington it was about this time of year, well anyway winter.  We'd  got a flat on one of the inside duels.  Tow truck came and fixed it and off we went again.

I'd rather go out in fall, spring or summer rather than the winter.  Besides we'd see more at least I did,  he was on the job and we'd had more and more long talks and sing along and just doing what a man an woman would do together.  I truly miss him and our special time together.  Your missed by all of us how the kids miss you.

Our Love

September 26, 2016

They say it wouldn't last, we proved them all wrong.  Lived each day as if we were on a life time honeymoon, and it was.  We meet for our 1st date on July 1st 2000 and married just three short months later on October 1st 2000, and what a wirl wind romance it was. From that day one our love grew stronger and stronger every day. Just being with one another was perfect.
So never say it won't last, love is the stronges tie that binds.  Bound from then to now.
Holding hands as we walked along the roadside, be it in our hometown or a city we'd travel to, and there were many.  Riding in his big rig across this country, was wonderful and how we loved it.  Our love was as pashionate as it was in the beginning to the end.  Dave was a wonderful and loving man and a friend to all.
How I miss you honey, Our love will never die, it goes one forever.  Two loves had I, from my youth a fantastic man whom you knew for some 30 years, and you for 15 fantastic and wonderful years.  I wanted to hold you tight all through the night and never let you go, but God had other plans, I have to accept.  With all my love I send to you my Mr Piggie.  Our little secreat now and forever.
  God be with you always.
