A native of Roba, AL., and the daughter of the late Cleveland, Sr., and Ruby Martin Moore, Mrs. Baskin was a 1957 graduate of South Macon High School in Roba. She retired after 32 years of services with the Muscogee County School District's Nutritional Program, her last tenure being at Wesley Heights Elementary School. She was a member of Cathedral of Prayer Church of God in Christ and its Mothers Board. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Willie L. "Bubba" Baskin and three brothers, Cleveland Moore, Jr., John L. and Glen Moore.

Surviving are two daughters, Sheila Y. Baskin Johnson(Bill) and Tammye D. Baskin McDonald; one son, Anthony Q. Baskin; four grandchildren, Domonique D. Johnson(Corey), Andianna M. McDonald, Andrew M. McDonald and Demorrian D. Johnson; two brothers, William Moore and Ernest Moore; one sister, Flora Byrd; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, loving in-laws, other relatives and friends.
