This special man meant everything to his family, especially his kids. I know he is so proud of you for how you both have handled the last few weeks, and i am proud of you too! As I walk this road with you, I wish there was more I could do to help ease the pain. It hurts so much to see your family's pain and be helpless to ease it! But I will walk along with you, and hold your hand, and some day, hopefully very far away, you will both do the same for me! I love you all!

I have so many great memories of your Dad! My favorites involve all the games he'd make up on long car rides or during dinners, his mischievous smile, and tender heart. Watching his connection grow with my own kids has been so much fun. I will never forget the day Asher burst into laughter weeks after a visit with your Dad telling me "oh it's just something Uncle Fred said." Whether you were 6 or 60, he had a captivating spirit that connected with so many! It simply won't be the same without him, but I know his spirit will never leave us and we will keep him smiling down on us from heaven. Keep the hearts coming Uncle Fred!
