His Life

Fred Lamar Terrell was born November 27, 1950 to the late Eddie and Helen Terrell of Hogansville, Georgia. Fred peacefully made his transition to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Atlanta Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

Fred joined Wadley Chapel United Methodist Church, Corinth, Georgia at an early age. He served on the Steward Board and the Adult Choir. Later he joined Louise United Methodist Church. There he became a member of the Adult Choir and the Male Chorus.

Fred graduated from Ethel W. Kight High School Class of 1969, LaGrange, Georgia. He was a truck driver for 25 plus years. Music, playing the guitar and singing was his passion.

Preceded him in death are his parents, Eddie and Helen Terrell; three brothers, Joe Terrell, Bill Terrell and Thomas Spencer; two sisters, Lozie Phillips and Alma Philpot; and a nephew, Michael Terrell. To cherish his memories he leaves, two daughters, Tamunya Tigner, Erica (Vernon) Ryan; three sons, Fredrick (Cochonda) Tigner, Cedric Jackson of Hogansville, GA, and Cretice L. Fannin of LaGrange, GA; three sisters, Annette Phillips, Connie Bowman and Deborah Terrell of LaGrange, GA; one brotherin-law, James Phillips of Hogansville, GA; seven grandchildren, Synahia Tigner, Kingston Tigner, Kameron Tigner, Karter Tigner, Eric Tigner, Fredrick Dunson, Montavious Dunson and Jayden Fannin; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
