Jeanette, such a touching memorial service honoring your much-loved dad. He certainly was fun-loving and touched a lot of lives. Our condolences to you and your family and brother, Fred's brothers and to all who knew and loved your good-hearted father.

Jeanette when Pops joined the bus route I quickly learned he had the same interests as Scott. Scott and Pops would talk so much I would leave him talking to bring Jamie in the house - too funny. All of our conversations were great he always left out the frills and bs. Down to earth that man. When pops was sick I remember I had to ask you what his name was but honestly he will always be 'Pops'. Jeanette, I only knew your Dad for a short time and I am so sorry he left too early. You and your family are in my prayers.

I met Fred in December 2001 shortly after I met his daughter. A short while after Jeanette and I were dating Jeanette took me to meet her father. I'm a few years older than Jeanette and I still remember his eyebrows coming up over his sunglasses when she told Fred. Over the years we've laughed a lot, talked fishing and gardening, and cars. I will miss him and I know that he knew I would take care of his daughter. Until we meet again Fred!

I never had the privilege of meeting Fred, but I know his daughter and was with her toward the end, going through pictures and trying to be a friend to her during this sad time. The stories she has told me and looking at his life through photographs, he seemed to live a fun fulfilled life surrounded by people who loved him. My condolences to all who loved him and are grieving his passing, and who have lost someone who helped create such a good person like Jeanette.
