Uncle Fred loved his birds. I remember during Holidays he would bring his birds out and let us touch them and showed us their tricks.   This was pretty trusting since we were 5-7 yo.  He was always loving to his younger nieces and nephews.  He was unique and I will always remember him for his kindness, his effusive nature and just being a good human being.
