Born in Chicago, IL to Milton and Jane Dempsey on October 13, 1951.  Frederick was raised in Long Beach, IN.  He attended Elston High School in Michigan City, IN before going to Indiana State for his 2 college degrees in speech pathology.  While getting married and supporting his wife at the time, Barbara Sharp, at the university of Minnesota with her education, they had a son Drew Frederick Dempsey in June of 1983. It was then when Fred and Barbara formed a real estate company and the rest is history. Moving back to Long Beach, IN from Minnesota to start a family and a thriving buisness. In 1992 Fred and Barb divorced and was later married to Janice Berner.  At this time Fred was one of the biggest real estate brokers in northwest Indiana and southwest Michigan with Fairfield Realtors.  Fred and Janice would later divorce and this would find Fred in 2001 merging his company with Century 21.  Years later he would retire to Tampa FL to boat and have year round sun. Fred died unexpectant on Oct 22 in St Petersburg FL at the age of 58.  He is survived my his son, Drew Frederick Dempsey. a sister, Pamela Richmann and a brother, Milton Dempsey Jr. Fred was a very kind man. Involved in many different forms of philanthropy and always willing to help anyone. He loved Rock n Roll, The Chicago Bears, Boating, The Beach/Ocean and having clarity and inner peace,  "The Past is a Burden, The Future is Unknown, All we have is the Now"
