Mrs. Gabrella Gilliam Graham, the daughter of the late Mr. James (Sr.) and Estella Davidson Gilliam was born December 4, 1923 in Troup County, GA. She departed this life on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at EAMC-Lanier, Valley, AL

Ms. Gay”, as she was known to many, accepted Christ and united with the Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. H. Lilly. She was a member of the Kitchen Club.

She received her former education in the public schools of Troup County.

Gabrella was joined in Holy Matrimony to Jenus Graham, Sr, who preceded her in death.

Ms. Gay” loved to cook and feed the entire neighborhood. She would often collect clothes just to give them to those that were in need. Her favorite hobby was the GA Lottery Scratch Off and was a wrestling “fanatic”. She was a member of the West Point Voter’s League.

Muh”, as she was affectionately known by her children and grandchildren, would always put her children and grandchildren before herself. Muh’s kids were always right. They did no wrong as far as she was concerned.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Larry, Barry Graham and Robert Paige Graham ; three sisters, Thelma Griggs, Mozell Young and Inez Winston; three brothers, Charles, Horace and James Gilliam.

A legacy of love she leave to cherish her five daughters, Ruby J. Rainey, Bettye J. Alexander, Estella G. (Alton) Scroggins, Ann G. Weston, Nan(Greg) Barber, West Point, GA; two sons, James R.(Tolandra) Graham, Lanett, AL; Jenus S. Graham, Jr., West Point, GA; one grandson that she reared as her son, James A. (Traci) Graham, West Point, GA; two sisters, Anita Huguley and Bessie Billingslea, West Point, GA; two brothers, Tommy (Dorothy) Gilliam, Wilbur (Hattie) Gilliam, 22 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
