Guardian For you gave me a home at age 12 and guided and guarded me from then on, and for that I thank you.
Abba You were a father to all who crossed your path.
Believer You believed in God and in yourself for that you gained respect from many.
Respectful You respected the young and the old alike, humility was part of your identity.
Instructor You instructed so many and impacted knowledge in so many who now represent you all over the world.
Educator You were wise and educated, you enlightened so many.
Loving Love conquers all, and you loved all whom God put under your care.
Gabriel Akame believed, respected, instructed, educated, and loved all those whose lives he touched here on Earth. Not a surprise after all for he was named after arch angel Gabriel. The angel of the Lord who appeared to Mary as she conceived by the power of the Holy Ghost. Mary believed and obeyed God. To all whose lives were touched by Papa, May you believe and obey God. I am so blessed to have had him in my life. His allure was so graceful that when you watched him walk you wanted to walk in his shoes. But no one could have walked in his shoes with the same elegance he held throughout all of life’s endeavors. I remember through my child like eyes seeing this exquisite, handsome, humble, soft spoken Yaounde University Graduate. I was truly blessed to be able to tap in to the knowledge of one of the few Bakossi University Graduates. His calm spirit made him a role model to myself and all he encountered. When you get there, say hello to my parents, bothers and sisters. Join hands with them and intercede for us back here on Earth. You chose this season (lent), the way to the cross to exit. And divine mercy will receive your last respect. For the sake of his sorrowful Passion- ask the Lord to have mercy on us and carry us through out this tough time. In our time of grief it is okay to cry, for tears are God's gift to us, our Holy water, They heal us as they flow. But please let those tears be few, for we should always smile at the thought of seeing him again in Lord's Kingdom. He is only gone physically, let us allow his calm spirit to forever be a guiding force in our lives leading us towards the kingdom of heaven. I love you Papa. ~Mponge Mbulle~
