I just read on the passing of Chef Gail Andrew Miller. I knew Chef Miller
and worked with him as the Sous Chef for the Holiday Inn  Palo Verde in
Tucson in the early 90's when I was in the Hotel business then. Gail was not
only the nicest Chef I knew, his laugh was the best !! 

My deepest condolences to the Miller Family, Gail was a great guy !!

Andy was a volunteer for the Tucson Celtic festival and highland Games as well as a Past board member of the chefs Association of southern Arizona and senora sunrise grove.

Services will be held at fort Lowell Ramada #7 at 5:00 pm please bring lawn chairs. A potluck to follow

Gail Andrew Miller who passed away on May 13, 2012. Gail and Sally Miller met in Fort Wayne at the Holiday Inn dome where they both worked. They then moved from Fort Wayne Indiana to Tucson Arizona in the spring of 1984 and were married in the fall of that year. He was preceded in death by his parents Gail H Miller of Huntington Indiana and Mary Helen Miller of Fort Wayne Indiana. Andy is survived by a loving wife Sally and many stray cats. Mother in law Patricia Helke,  along with 2 brothers, 1 brother in law and sister in law Rod (Stephanie) Griggs and Jan (Chris) Griggs, Tim (Carrie) Helke, 4 nephews and 4 nieces 20 great nephews and nieces.At the time of his death he was employed with Eurest /compass foods at Raytheon in the foodservice department as a chef. Andy had multiple interests such as cooking, reading, gardening, wire work, and helping out close friends. Andy was a Reiki Master, who enjoyed studding norse mythology, camping, outdoors, hiking.
