Gail Ann Leiberher, 59, died peacefully on Thursday, September 24, 2015 in Phoenix, AZ after a long battle with cancer.   She was born in Hershey, PA on July 17, 1956 to the late Kenneth B. Leiberher and Edna Weaber Leiberher.

She grew up in Campbelltown PA and has lived in Florida for the last 10 years.

She is survived by four loving siblings -  Bonnie Leiberher of Mechanicsburg, Kenneth F. Leiberher of Jonestown, Denise Leiberher Carbury of Flagstaff, AZ (please see denise-kay-leiberhercarbary.forevermissed.com) and Quentin Leiberher of Palmyra.  She will be missed by nine nieces and nephews.  Her many friends will remember her as vivacious, funny, and caring.

She was an AMTA Certified and Nationally Certified Licensed Massage Therapist for 25 years, graduating from the Baltimore School of Massage. She was certified in Neuromuscular Therapy, Russian Sports Massage, Soft Tissue Release, Thai Massage, Reflexology, as well as many other certifications. She took her education seriously and kept taking classes up to 3 months before her death, even with the intense pain she was in. Helping people with her skills and knowledge meant a great deal to her and made a big difference to many people's health and well-being.

She had many interests including a love for the shore, theater, dance, live music, and travel.

We ask you to help honor Gail by leaving the family pictures and rememberances of our loved one.

My sweetest phriend, how I miss your beautiful smile. It would light the darkest place. It lit my heart. How I miss seeing you swaying on the dancefloor, your eyes closed, your face uplifted with that gorgeous smile. You felt the music to your soul and it was a thing of beauty. Phoenix is playing at the beach tonight. You are so missed. Tonight's show is dedicated to you, my beautiful phriend. I will never forget you or stop missing you. <3

Happy 60th Birthday in Heaven Gail. I know that you are free of pain and suffering and I'm sure you had a beautiful birthday today! It's my prayer that you have seen and talked with my John. I've made contact with him twice since his death on 4-14-14, through an intuitive spiritual advisor, and John shared with me that it is beautiful and he is happy and that I shouldn't be sad and I should move on with my life.

I was heartbroken to find out of Gail's passing this evening. Although it has been years since I saw Gail, we had a beautiful and fantastic friendship during the 1980's and 1990's. She was the best stage assistant one could ever ask for during my studio's dance productions and she herself was an act unto herself. We shared so many fun moments during our years but one moment that I must share stands out more than any. She and I had front row center tickets for Dorothy Hamill's Cinderella Ice Show at the Hershey Arena. Of course, the theater critics that we pretended to be, we sat during the entire performance ripping it apart piece by piece. Finally at the end of the show the spotlight swung down on us and Dorothy Hamill wanted to introduce her husband whom was also the show's owner/producer. We literally melted in our seats as he stood up beside Gail and we realized he had heard our entire 'critique' for the past two hours. LOL. The moment was PRICELESS! Those are the kind of wonderful memories I have of Gail.... always the best! I will love you forever my dear.

Gail and I were friends for many years and she was a great massage therapist. I first learned of her business through my doctor. At each of my appointments we would talk for a long time in addition to my massage. We shared so much through the years. I was so sad to learn of her passing and her cancer. She is definitely an angel in heaven. She cared so much about others and was always happy.

I met Gail @ Hershey Factory working together I the Peanut & Almond Dept. We smiled and laughed uncontrollably in and out of work. When I became a single dad, she hosted my sons and I for a slumber party at her apt. in Palmyra. I never thought I'd have that much fun! I've thought of her so often over the years.

I worked with Gail at the lower end of Hershey Factory. She hated her job. But we would laugh till we cried at some of the things that happened. I cried when she left but her heart was elsewhere and I knew she would be ok. Her laugh was contagious. Deepest sympathy to the family. I'll never forget her and her smile.

Gail was always smiling & happy. What a blessing to have that personality. She helped me while I was competing in sports with her
massage therapy. I remember the time we went to the renaissance fair.
What a fun time to remember. We will miss you. We also lost a sister to cancer but they live on in our hearts and memories. Dennis & Lynda Walmer

I knew Gail from working at Hershey and went to her for massages at her home and the salon. I kept in touch with her for several years while she was in Florida, but had not heard from her the last couple of years. I didn't even know that she had cancer. Gail always enjoyed life and followed her heart. May we meet again some day!

Gail was such a delight. I suffered several strokes in '06 & she came faithfully every week to massage me. She was a very private person but she always talked so highly of her family & friends. Even in pain she would come & was always up beat. She loved music & to dance & was good at it. She was taken prematurely but her suffering is over. I miss her dearly & looked forward to our times together. RIP sweet Gail.

Wow! I knew Gail since 1st grade, the roller rink and work. I often wondered what happened to her after she quit Hershey Foods. I hope she found love and happiness in her life. She always seemed to find something to laugh about, even in the worst of times. God Bless!

Met Gail when she just got her massage therapist license. She was one of the kindest happiest people I have ever met. No matter what was going on - she had a positive attitude. She will be missed here on Earth by everyone who knew her, but we can be assured that she is healed and watching over all who loved her in Heaven.

Gail and I were neighbors and met because my cat Sammy decided to take up residence in her courtyard instead of my house. Many an evening we shared life stories as we found out our birthdays were a few days apart, our ages very close, and we were both Massage Therapists for the same amount of years. And we were both from the same part of the world too. We both said "I know..." and "You too?..." a million times. I'm so glad I bought Gail's Salvador Dali clock at her garage sale, because it's in my living room and I look at it often each day. And of course think of her. Sammy still lives in her courtyard and has adopted Gail's immediate neighbor. I still visit him, but it's odd now. And I know Sammy misses her too. Here's to you Gail. Forever in our minds and hearts.

Gail was a great lady. Always smiling and laughing. I had the pleasure of knowing her for several years as my massage therapist and then I worked with her. We shared the love of tap dance and many conversations about it. When I left my job she gave me a small gift that I will treasure for a long time. She will truly be missed. My sympathies to her family.

Our Aunt Gailie, as we all knew her in the Watson/Kristich family.
Also, Aka: Bette Midler and Dame Boca. I first met Gail over 30 years when she first signed up for my Mother's Aerobics and tap classes. This was such a big part of her life and she loved every time she stepped foot on the dance floor and on stage. Gail would often go on vacation with our family, even traveling to Hawaii. It was always a fun and crazy time spent with our Aunt Gailie. I was so proud of her when she finally left that horrible job at Hershey and had the strength to do something she wanted to do. Massage! And, she sure was the BEST at her craft! Always so strong and yet gentle and so caring of all creatures. Our hearts are sad and this world will never be the same without our Aunt Gailie.  We love you Baby Cakes and thank you for a beautiful friendship.

Gail was a huge part of my life , she was the sister I never had. Always at my charity events , sometimes even being a vendor for chair massages , we would go listen to music together and she would rock out twirling her head like a head banger LOL  I liked teasing her about getting her a boyfriend with a motorcycle so she could ride and a guy that had muscles and she would giggle silly and get all blushed . I love you Gail ! I will miss you beyond belief .

Gail was a radiantly positive person. Her smile, which was ever present, lit up her surroundings and touched you to your very soul. It was impossible to be in a bad mood around Gail. Her upbeat personality and positive attitude would elevate you no matter what. She had the silliest laugh, and she used it A LOT! When she'd call and leave a message, she'd always giggle after she said, "Hi, this is Gail (giggle)" every message she ever left me had that silly giggle and made me laugh every single time!! I used to tell her that I wished I had a miniature Gail to carry around in my pocket that I could take out whenever I was feeling down. The world is dimmer without her, but I will carry that mini-Gail in my heart forever. Rest in peace, my dear sweet friend.

Gail was the most sincere and positive woman I knew. Never had a bad word about anyone. Her smile lit anywhere she was. She will be missed. Her suffering is now over and she will be an Angel to look over others and bring her positive attitude over others. Her new journey begins.

I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Gail at the chiropractors office. She called me Neecie, because that is what she called her sister, Denise. She was a kind soul with so much depth. May she rest in peace and her family find consolation in sweet memories.
