Tributes
Leave a tributeI can't believe it's been a year. Although you are gone, I have thoughts of you everyday. I miss you so much! Thankfully I have a lifetime of memories. I love you.
I love you and miss you and
I feel so blessed to have a lifetime of special memories of us together.
I smile at some of the memories. I can hear you and Carol singing "One mile over and two miles back" or you saying "Oh God" at something Martin has said or done.
I love you with all of my heart and I hope you are at peace now.
but it was not possible becouse you were gone, you were smiling and
answer yes with your head
I wish I could give you many more years. I wish I could erase away all of your tears.
I want to take away all of your pain. I want to give you sunshine in the rain.

A Little Music Please
A couple of years ago, Porterfield UMC sponsored a concert by Jodi Mann. If you haven't heard her, put that on your to-do list. I wanted to go, but my husband could not make it, so I decided to make a sister thing out of it. I invited my sister Katherine, and my sister-in-law Gail to go with me. Gail loved people and she enjoyed the music with two other music lovers. We discussed the themes of Jodi's songs and how her talent is both entertaining and inspirational. I am glad we had that time together. I don't often take the time that I should to just be with family. Gail and Kathy provided me with a wonderful time-out that turned out to be one of those lasting memories.
