Her Life
November 30, 2011

Gail was a graduate of The University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, and she continued to remain actively close to her college Sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. After graduation, she began her career as a teacher, and she remained in that profession for the next 44 years. She loved her profession and particularly enjoyed teaching English, Speech, and Theater. She eventually returned to school and in 1993 received a Master's Degree in Psychology, which she was able to utilize not only in her teaching career, but also as a counselor at various facilities in the Longview, TX and DFW areas.

In addition to teaching and counseling, Gail was also a very blessed and talented musician and vocalist, particularly within her religious community. During the several years she spent in Longview, she was an active member of St. Michael and All Angels’ Episcopal Church, where she touched the lives of so many through her singing and guitar playing as a key member of the choir. She was also able to utilize these talents within her teaching and counseling professions by playing, singing, and bringing the joy of music to her students and patients. Her music and her beautiful voice will definitely continue to echo in the hearts and minds of those with whom she shared her gifts.

Finally, Gail consistently exhibited a profound love for life, God and family, always maintaining a positive outlook in all that she did while providing inspiration and joy to anyone in her presence. Her strength and perseverance unrelenting, she always found a way to rise above any obstacle that she encountered, no matter how difficult. Now she has risen eternally above us all, to a better place, but she will continue to fill our hearts and minds with her presence....always and forever.
