30 years ago, this wonderful blonde head woman from New Mexico moved to Texas and changed the course of my life. Her class was the sole reason I decided to become a speech teacher. Smart, warm hearted, and a great sense of humor. She instilled in me that when your smart and fun, it still takes courage to be a little crazy, I am. Gail, love you!

I am so shocked and sad to lose my precious friend. I, too, had known her since first grade. She was one of those friends that is just always there. The one you pick up a conversation with 5 or 10 years after you started it & it was as if no time had passed. I will so cherish the time we got to spend together at the reunion. I love you Gail. My heart & love are with you & the boys Buck.

It had been fifty-one years since we had seen one another at our reunion on Oct. 1st. We sat together and got to visit up until almost everyone else had left. She was absolutely radiant, beautiful, full of optimism and enthusiam. There is a special, precious bond between us Raven classmates and I thank God for that time together. My heartfelt condolences to you Buck, Brad and Bobby.

My deepest condolenses to Buck and family upon the sudden passing of the sweet, bright, super lady, wife and mom. I was so happy to see her at the 50th class reunion. Though it had been many yrs since I'd had a chance to talk to her, it seemed only like a day had passed. Her memory will live within all of us and one day we'll be reunited as if only a day has passed. Stay in His company

I will always remember Gail as the Mermaid in our High School play. Even today I can see her wonderful, happy attitude. It was so good to see her at the reunion - still the same happy, outgoing personality. I lost my husband a little over a year ago. At the end he was prepared to go, we were not prepared to let him go. My deepest sympathy to all of you. - Lucy Lucero

I'm so sad to have lost my dear friend - I've known Gail since 1st Grade. Born 15 days apart, we go back so far-I remember visiting her while she and Pammy were in the bathtub. I'm not proud to recall in 2nd grade she & I stole a penny sucker from our local store. 1 of our moms found out and took us down to apologize. I'll always remember her ZEST for life and her giant tacos!! Love, K-lee

I was so sad to receive Karalee's email that Gail had passed away. I am so glad we had our 50th reunion on Oct 1st and she was able to attend. I know she was thrilled to attend it, and all her friends were thrilled to see her. She was there for all of the reunions we had, if there is a 60th, I know she will be there in memory.

Wow.. so many memories and not enough room. Gail was like a second mom..she was our youth leader my english teacher..my friend. She made anything she did enjoyable and I am so glad I had reconnected with her on facebook. She fought the good fight and earned those wings. Her love of the Lord helped shape mine and I will always be grateful for that. I love you Gail.. see ya soon xoxo(Whitis)

I always thought of Gail as a second mom growing up. Heaven knows she didn't have a problem disciplining me as a third son! To me, the mark of a well led life is defined by the indelible impression one leaves behind. Indeed, Gail did just that, as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend and child of God. My deepest sympathies and love to you -- Buck, Brad and Bobby.
