Garret B. LaFountain, age 48, of Dunseith, ND passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at his home.

Brant Garret LaFountain was born on September 21, 1970 in Belcourt, ND to Yvonne St. Claire. He was raised by his grandparents, Alex and Verna LaFountain in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Garret was the proud father of ten children, Trevor, Skylar, Shyann, Bryce, Ashley, Tarren, Joel, Alainna, Rylan, and Jo Marie. He loved to spend time with his children and all of his family members. Garret enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and going horse back riding. He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by is family members and many friends.

Garret is survived by his children, Trevor DeCoteau, Skylar DeCoteau, Shyann LaVallie, Bryce Monette, Ashley LaFountain, Tarren Belgarde, Joel Jerome, Alainna Jerome, Rylan Morin, and Jo Marie LaVallie; eight grandchildren; siblings, Winona (David) St. Claire, Dwight St. Claire. Waylon Gladue and Skyler Gladue and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Garret was preceded in death by his grandparents, Alex and Verna LaFountain, brothers, Joel St. Claire and Tyler Gladue, step-father, Dwight St. Claire Sr., and nephew, DJ St.Claire
