Funeral service will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 at W.E. Lusain Funeral Home and Crematory (2060 Germantown Street/Dayton OH 45417). Visitation will begin at 12:00pm and service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment at Jeffersonview Cemetery.

Mr. Gary A. Stephens was born to the late James Langston and Amelia K. Stephens on March 16, 1944 in Dayton, Ohio.

Mr. Stephens retired from McCall Printing Press. He then took on employment at Dayton Daily News until he became ill.

Mr. Stephens was preceded in death by both of his parents, and his daughter Stephanie Stephens. He leaves to cherish his memory longtime companion Ella Henderson and her family; one sister Dorothy Garrison; three brothers Daryl Stephens, Kirk Stephens, and Keith Stephens; children Marsha Stephens, Rose Stephens, and Anthony Stephens; two granddaughters Bre’Yana Ruffin and Kierra Morton; one great granddaughter Riian Allen; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
