Hey Pawpaw. I love and miss you so so much. I feel you around me all the time. I think of you everyday and I know you are one of my guardian angels. We sure do miss you down here but I know you are in the greatest place of all. I am so thankful for the time we got to spend together, I wish I would’ve hugged you a little tighter as it would’ve been our last hug. When I see a sunflower or hear one of your songs I know you are there. Keep shining down on us Pawpaw. Love your sweet sweet Madison.

Words cannot describe the pain and hurt when we lose a loved one. But I had the privilege of meeting this awesome human being. The first thing I told him was that I was his daughters black friend. And he gave the best respond. “I forgot my KKK hat back home”. And we laughed and he gave a me hug and said nice to finally meet you.
He made fun of me because I don’t listen to country music.
I am deeply sorry for all of his loved ones because he was a great man, and it saddens me I only got to meet him once. But I know he’s a much better place.
