Gary was the best. From early on in the spring of 1964, we seem to hit it off. He was one of the guys on that team I was paired with often. There were many times over the years that I will always remember because of his big personality, never ending joking and just the way he made you feel at ease. He will be forever missed and I will think about him often with fond memories.

Golfing Buds

October 7, 2016

Gary and I played dozens of rounds of golf on the same Hogan High School team from 1970-1973 and in many golf tournaments outside of high school.  We were competitors, team mates, we shared thoughts, and above all we were friends that respected eachother.  I'll always remember Gary's big smile, his competitive spirit, comradery, and his outstanding golf game.  He loved the game in the same way as I have all these years.  I moved away from Vallejo after High School and never saw or heard from Gary after 1973 (except for an occasional HS reunion).  Even so, we had great times together. I'll always remember those times and I'll always remember Gary.

Sincerely,

Brent Jorgensen

Tennis

May 29, 2015

I still rmember the many nights of the four of us playing tennis- of course girls against guys. Gary always took it easy on us. Thank goodness! We would them go over to one of our homes for dinner and to visit. Summers were always so much fun getting together with Gary, Debbie and the boys. Our families had many great times together.

I will always remember his great sense of humor and how he could tell stories. The Christmas parties were so much fun with Gary leading the way on playing games in the garage. He always had a big smile and a funny comment to make. i shall miss him and his friendship forever.  He was a great supportive friend. Love to you, Debbie and the boys.
