Gary was born in Vancouver wa June17, 1952 to Doris Jelinek & Jack McFarland to join older sister Jackie He grew up attending Vancouver area schools & graduatedfrom Ridgefield high school He served time in the National Guard during the Vietnam era being stationed in Vancouver, he was fortunate to never be involved in combat, Gary married Debbie Hamlin and sadly due to him being too immature & irrisponsible, they divorced after the birth of their son, Gary Dennisin1974, Later Gary and donna were married in 1988, adopting son Ryan David in 1993, Most summers you would find Gary camped near creeks fly fishing for those elusive trout, His greatest fishing experiences was to take a charter trip on the Pacific to fish for salmon  ALL TOO sad, once Gary was ill He was unable to flyfish the creeks and the cost of charter fishing became out of reach for him to go out   Gary enjoyed being an amature radio operator,  Gary, wa7mum and would chat worldwide with various other "hams" as they are called, He loved to travel making 2 trips abroad with later trips to Hawaii and Florida for all of Orlandos attractions, Gary is missed by friends and his family is still trying to cope without him  Gary leaves sons Garyjr and Ryan, wife, Donna, brother, David sister Jackie and stepfather, Phil who now share a void where Gary once dwelled
