His Life

Mr. Hollis was an faithful member of Arbor Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a musician, deacon-aide and stage designer for church programs. He received his education in the West Point Public School System.

Gary was truly a man of God. He tired very hard to live a life that was pleasing in God’s sight. He cared about his family and in doing so, he set standards for all men to follow. He strived to be a good example for the member of the church and his community.

He was employed with Tub Time Carwash for 15 years and LaGrange College until his health declined. Gary had a passion for drawing and music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evan Hollis and Corine Hollis Borden, sisters, Estella Hollis, Mattie Taylor, Sara Hollis, Mary Dawson and a niece, Mary A. Glaze.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife of 37 years, Teresa A.
