ForeverMissed

Gary Cullum lived a full and vibrant life.  Always quick with a joke or a line to make you laugh, Gary was truly the life of the party.

This past week, Gary went to be with the Lord and left behind a loving family who will forever miss him.  On November 5th, 1947, Gary Layne Cullum was born in Dallas, Texas at Methodist Hospital.

Gary's full life included the joy of two children, Tony and Kim.  These precious gifts brought him years of joy and were an immense sense of pride.  Gary was a loving father, a devoted son to Burton Cullum, Sr. and Betty, and a wonderful brother to his own brother [Burton Cullum, Jr. and wife, Deb] and sister [Charlotte and husband, Alan].  In addition, Gary enjoyed the extended family connection of brother and sister-in-law and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.  Moreover, he was admired and loved by many friends and acquaintances.

As an avid man of taste, Gary was exposed to a multitude of experiences.  Among his most accomplished achievements was working as a general contractor on the completion of the LTV Steel building located in the heart of downtown Dallas.

On Saturday, August 5th, 2017 we will host a celebration of Gary’s life at The Galleries @5576 located at 5576 Judson Rd, Longview, Texas 75605.  The event will be from 5pm to 8pm and will be come and go.  Light refreshments will be served.  Please help us commemorate his life and legacy.

We, his loving family are seeking to properly inter [bury] Gary to the great beyond and to host a modest gathering in his remembrance.  We have created a Go Fund Me account to offset the expenses and would respectfully ask for donations in lieu of flowers or other gifts.  Any contribution made will go to this expense.  Any remaining funds will be donated to the Neptune Society so that they may help others in the future.

Gray and I did great fun things together. He was the best at bringing huge profitable construction projects. We had so many fun times when we had him as our guest at Crosscreek Ranch in Oklahoma. The memories are endless. I am so sad. I loved Garbo.
