Mr. Gary Eugene Thomas was born to the late Mr. James and Mrs. Ludella Thomas on October 31, 1949 in Coosa County, Alabama. Gary made his transition on October 28, 2011

Gary was educated in the School System of Coosa County.

Gary made a confession of Faith in Christ at an early age and became a member of New Home Baptist Church.

Gary leaves to cherish his memories: a daughter, Sherita Martin, Jacksonville, Florida; three sons, Sheldon Martin, Jacksonville, Florida, Carlos Burton (Lora) , Birmingham, Alabama, Casey Cunningham, Rockford, Alabama; two sisters, Kate Mitchell, Miami, Florida, Joyce Thomas, Lithonia, Georgia; two brothers, Benjamin Thomas (Pauline), Columbus, Ohio; many nieces and nephews, cousins and devoted friends.


Funeral service for Mr. Gary Thomas will be Saturday, November 5, 2011 at New Home Baptist Church at 11:00am. Burial will follow at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Hey Pops - I'm just now seeing this page. You should know that you are truly missed day in & day out. I wish you were here to see your grandson Matthew. I think about calling you everyday, and how we made each other laugh each time we spoke. I miss you so much pops! Seems like yesterday when we used to ride in your old white Pontiac!! Now you have a chariot!! Keep riding! Love you!!
