Ha! My Sis & friend, you are so missed. What a gentle soul you were on planet earth. Just when we were getting comfortable after a long reunion after our secondary school days, you were snatched away.
We will surely meet again on Jesus' laps but before then continue to rest in His Bossom.

My heart sinks, every time I hear Aunty Gbeke’s name. Sorry I
couldn’t make it to see you off. Aunty Gbeke was a beautiful, smart
intelligent, and also loyal to her heavenly Father (GOD). She is a
strong woman, who always hides her pain. She never likes to show
her pain. She taught me a lot of things in life. We also had things in
common, like we both love shopping, we can spend a lot of time in
shops. She has passion for GOD, and loves fashion. She used to spoil
us by taking us out and there was a time she took us to the Olympics,
which was the best of them all. She is what I like to call family.
I couldn’t even say my proper good byes to her. I just wished she
could stay for a little while, but it looks like GOD needs her more
than we do. I always think she is probably saying ‘We should not cry
that heaven is better than earth. I’m safe with my heavenly Father, no
pain just peace.’ I love her and always will. I miss you Aunty Gbeke.
Bye for now.

Tribute to my Sister.
Gbeke, you were gone too soon. There were a lot of things we had
hoped for, but I know that you are in a better place.
Gbeke was very caring, she never missed any birthday or anniversary
– in fact she made it a point of duty to wish everyone well. She was
very gentle, kind hearted and loving . She was one in a million.
I remember during the Olympics she made sure that she secured
tickets for us and we went together to enjoy the games..
She loved to smile and her smile could lit up a room, no wonder she
joined the meters and greeters group of her church. She was perfectly
matched for this role where she served faithfully until her death.
On Christmas day we went out together and she looked so pretty, so
elegant so full of life how was I to know it was her last Christmas.
Gbeke was a God-fearing person who lived her life according to
God’s principles . Her slogan was-“Because he lives I can face tomorrow”.
She did all things without complaining. She was a person of
faith and never compromised her faith in Christ. I admire her for
this. I will always love you and miss you very much. Rest in perfect
peace my dear sister.

Gbeke, I never thought I would be writing a tribute for you. My
heart bleeds, each time I remember that you have left us. Gbeke you
were a prayer warrior, a woman of integrity, pleasant, gentle, kind,
loving and a caring woman. I will always remember your smiles
and words of encouragement. Gbeke I believe that you have lived a
fulfilled life and your life is a testimony. I believe Revelation 21:4b
that you have gone to glory where no more death, neither sorrow,
nor crying and neither shall there be any more pain and that is my
consolation.
Good night baby sister and my friend.

Gbeke,
We were sad to receive an e mail from US that ‘a gem has gone’!
The household of God -Evangelical Christian Union Alumni fellowship
in the United Kingdom salute you as a fellow alumnus and a
beautiful daughter of God.
You were quite quiet in manner but always had a smile for everyone
who came across your path. No one could hold a grudge with you for
your smiles  were infectious and disarming .
You loved the Lord and served Him with fervency of spirit. You
were a rare gem whose translation to the other much desirable side
of eternity, can only be understood in the light of the scripture in
Philippians 1: 21 which says ....’’for me to live is Christ and to die is
gain.’’..
We celebrate your life and legacy of service to the Lord and say bye
for now as you rest in the Lord your God. See you when our own
race is done. See you on the other side!

Gbeks baby, That is how I always address you. Never thought that
you’d be gone. What a loss, You were a good aunt to my children,
and they always have good things to say about you. Well, the consolation
is that you have gone to rest; you lived an exemplary life and
served God to the end.
You have fought a good fight, you have finished your course and
have kept the faith: ……………………….... 1Corinthians 9:24.
Adieu Gbeke.
