Dear Gbenga,
l thought l had witnessed enough deaths of people very close to me that l can no longer be shocked. The news of your death proved me totally wrong. I am still in denial. We have come a long way. All l can say is that God’s will has been done.
Gbenga, you were a fighter and you fought to the end. You were a loving and devoted husband and father. A trusted and passionate friend. We shall miss you; l mean your closest gang.
l prayGod grant you sweet repose. May all your loved ones, Funmi, your wife, Segun your brother and your darling children be comforted by the Almighty Father. May the blessings and protection of God and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ never depart from your home.
