I remember when papaw used to take us to the Reactment of the Battle of Sacremento and we would go every year when I was little....even one time when it had stormed and the feilds were muddy and we still went! And for lunch he always got a bag of chips, loaf of bread, package of bologna and a 2-liter of RC and all of us shared it (4 grandkids and him :) We would watch the battle and walk around to all the booths and then we would go visit the graveyard and walk down this railroad track that was kind of spooky! I sure do miss him and so wish he could be here so we could have that great lunch again! Theres just no one I could share that same lunch with! 

I remember papaw always would give us random little things and one thing I remember he gave me was these little white pill bottles...there were probaly like 30 or more and my mom was so mad that he had given me "junk" but I thought that they were the greatest gift of all time and I keep those bottles as long as I could remember in a kroger bag under my bed so that my mom wouldn't throw them away!!! He was always giving us great gifts!!! I miss you papaw..I love you so much!!! 

I remember one time, papaw took me and justin drive out in country, Justin was drive and i was in the bed of the truck look around, I thought there was a ditch ahead so i jump out of truck and roll in the dirt. He alway let me drive truck, he is teach me to drive
